The Chevrolet Volt, a prototype of which
hit the roads of Michigan last week, will
reportedly get 230 miles per gallon in city driving. Yes, you read that right, 230 MPG. According to the Wall Street Journal, "the Volt, slated to begin production in late 2010, is expected to travel up to 40 miles on electricity from a single battery charge and be able to extend its overall range to more than 300 miles with its flex fuel-powered engine-generator." 230 MPG is game-changer, for sure.
